We are seeking Remote Patient Monitors in Fort Walton Beach, Florida to join our team at truMED.

Job Description

A truMED Remote Patient Monitor in Fort Walton Beach helping patients. Remote Patient Monitors at truMED help support patients before and after bariatric surgery by tracking health data, responding to alerts, and connecting regularly by phone or text message. You’ll document interactions using our proprietary truMED software platforms - all while providing encouragement and education to patients. Medical experience isn’t required; we’re seeking positive, professional individuals who are detail-oriented and genuinely want to make a difference in people’s lives from the comfort of home. Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL
Salary: $25 - $30 / Hour (starting pay is based on experience)

Patient Monitor Responsibilities:

Track and document patient health data using truMED’s proprietary platform.
Respond promptly to alerts and reach out to patients via phone or text as needed.
Follow individualized care plans.
Assist patients with technical troubleshooting of monitoring devices (e.g., wearables, digital, scales, etc).
Report concerns — such as safety risks or sudden changes — immediately to supervisors.
Communicate compassionately and professionally with patients, building trust and rapport.
Maintain accurate, objective notes and records.
Engage in regular check-ins and supervision with management for feedback and guidance.
Respect privacy, professional boundaries, and HIPAA/confidentiality requirements at all times.
Encourage patient with their health goals and celebrate progress toward those goals.

Patient Monitor Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfort using phone, computer, and internet-based apps (including Word, Excel, Chrome).
Empathy, professionalism, and the ability to build patient trust over the phone.
Excellent organizational and note-taking skills; detail-oriented approach.
Ability to follow protocols, document factually, and maintain confidentiality (HIPAA-compliant).
Flexible availability, including occasional work outside regular hours.
Ability to work independently and seek guidance as needed.
No medical experience required — training provided for those with the right attitude.
Customer service, call center or remote monitoring experience a plus but not required.
